Beauty Nails Alphabet
Due to my profession (as you know I work as a nails designer), clients often ask what to do to have healthy, strong nails. Unfortunately, much depends on our genetics, but we can strengthen them through a good diet and proper care. Below, I have prepared a list of vitamins and minerals essential for strengthening natural nails. 1. Vitamin A – A for Advancement in Care Vitamin A is a true star in nail care. It protects against brittleness and enhances nail flexibility. You can find it in carrots, spinach, sweet potatoes, and papaya. Vitamin A also aids in the production of keratin, the main component of nails. 2. Vitamin…

Rose Petal Jam: A Quick Recipe for a Fantastic Floral Delight
Imagine the delicate fragrance of rose petals captured within the confines of a glass jar – a true sensory delight! Today, I’m here to share with you a lightning-fast recipe that will have you crafting your very own rose petal jam, or as the French fondly refer to it, “confiture de pétales de rose”. Let’s gather our materials: Now, pay attention to this crucial step: from each rose petal, gently detach the white part, the bit that protrudes from the base. Failure to do so might result in a bitter jam – and trust me, we’re aiming for floral sweetness! Rinse the petals thoroughly with cold water and pat them…

A natural lotion to strengthen the hair growth
Hi everyone! I wanted to share with you a recipe for my magical homemade hair tonic. I must admit, the main reason I decided to ditch the hair dye was simply the sorry state of my locks, which were falling out by the handful. I found some hints on Indian websites and…1 tablespoon of cloves2 tablespoons of rosemary (dried)4-5 bay leaves. We pour 2 cups of warm water, boil for 10 minutes, under a slight cover. We strain it, and it’s ready. You’ll have about 1-1.2 cups left. After it cools down, I pour it either into an old spray bottle or a serum bottle 😉 and keep it in the…

My gray hair care under transformation – first year.
This is such an important topic — I get thousands of questions about what I use. I’m not here to recommend a specific brand (even though I have my favorites!), but I’ll share the main principles that helped me through the transition. 1. Always use gentle shampoos — no SLS or SLESLet your scalp rest. Harsh detergents can dry out your roots and weaken hair follicles. A mild shampoo with a clean formula is essential. 2. Purple shampoo — but carefully!I used purple shampoo a maximum of once a week. It toned down the bright silver shade so it blended better with my dark dyed ends. But! It can be…

Food power #2 – beet kvass (sourdough)
Beet Kvass – Cheers to Health! Another important probiotic for health is homemade beet kvass. You can find the recipe below, but first, a few words about its benefits: Beet kvass has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, boosts the immune system, helps lower blood pressure, benefits the skin, cardiovascular system, liver, aids recovery from anemia, and aids digestion. We should drink about half a glass a day, preferably between meals 🙂 However, there are some contraindications to drinking fermented beet kvass. It’s not recommended for individuals with kidney stones and gout (beets contain oxalates), as well as those with low blood pressure. People with diabetes should also avoid it due to…

The story of a certain allergy to the SUN and a few words about health
For many years, I struggled with a terrible, painful, and very burdensome allergy to the sun! As far as I can remember, it started about 20 years ago – at first, just a slight redness and itching, then over the years, swelling, a huge red wrinkled patch that itched so terribly that it could drive one crazy! The allergy always appeared on the outer sides of both arms and the entire neckline and neck. Changing tanning creams didn’t help, drinking calcium with quercetin didn’t help, NOTHING helped! Finally, when I ended up at the emergency room in Norway – because I only got allergic reactions from simply WALKING in the…

Microbiome – superorganism!
For centuries, the focus was solely on the study of the pathogenic properties of microorganisms. However, how to shows the presence of microbes on the surface as well inside our body does not necessarily mean a state that deviates from physiology. Both skin and mucous membranes of organs such as: nose, mouth, genitals and digestive system are naturally colonized by various microorganisms. The ratio of the number of bacterial cells to the cells of the human body is as much as 1.3:1. Means that the number of bacterial cells inhabiting our the body exceeds the number of human cells. These beneficial bacteria – this whole magical environment we call the…

Health alphabet #1 Vitamin D3
Yes, yes, it’s not a mistake that I start the health alphabet with vitamin D3 and not with vitamin A 😉* The most important,* the most underrated* its deficiency causes serious diseases* and we usually have too little of this vitamin 🙁 Let’s start from scratch: What is this?Vitamin D, along with vitamins A, E and K, belongs to the group fat-soluble vitamins. She was discoveredonly in 1919 by Mellanbe, who for the first time the first to show that rickets could be caused by eficiencies in the diet of soluble substances in fats. Vitamin D can be supplied to the body in two ways – with food products or…
